Sports commonly refer to activities where the physical capabilities of the competitor are the sole or primary determinant of the outcome , but the term is also used to include activities such as Baseball, Basketball, Tennis, Golf and many mind sports. Sport has been defined by a UNESCO Committee as: ‘Any physical activity which has the character of play and which involves a struggle with oneself or with others, or a confrontation with natural elements’. The origin of sport in a general lie in their practice for combat and war.
